June 25-29, 2018. Introduction to Handling Racehorses
Laurel Park, Laurel, Maryland. Presented by Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen's
Association so no tuition
for those seeking employment. IF you are an owner or just want to learn
about horses, you may register now and attend if space allows. First
priority for spots in class is for those wanting to work at Laurel this summer.

Tuition
for owners or those just wanting the information and not planning on working
at PID, $199. KEEP, TOBA and MdTHA members may select the $175 option
(a $24 value as part of your KEEP, TOBA or MdTHA membership). Thank you for
registering for this class. You will be emailed a conformation email
shortly. Around June 22 you will receive an email with specific directions
about parking and expectations. You will need closed toed shoes or boots (NOT steel toed boots). You may want to bring work gloves but
those are not mandatory. Please dress appropriately for the weather, but no
abbreviated wear. You will be safer if your clothes fit properly and do not
have a lot of loose strings that might entice a horse.
